New Business Card

The picture pretty much speaks for itself. I haven’t had to make business cards on my own in years, but Zazzle made it pretty simple to do online. I created the logo at faceyourmanga.it. Even in the days of the web a card can have some impact.

  • If you already own edgibbs.com, then why not have an e-mail there? Like edward@edgibbs.com?

  • I do use ed@edgibbs.com, but I’ve had the yahoo email for about 12 years. Anything sent to edgibbs.com is redirected to my yahoo email anyway. Maybe it’s time to update things though.

If you do use ?@edgibbs.com, I recommend hosting the email through Google if you can still do that (for free). I have my name domain email hosted by google, an older (perhaps soon to be revised) professional domain email hosted through google. Emails from both of those accounts are download into MS Outlook at home. The main advantage is that google does all the spam filtering much better than Outlook can keep up. The second advantage is that there is a backup copy of email in case something crashes or I delete something. The filtering and forwarding through google/gmail is pretty good if you do want to use the web interface. Also, I would highly recommend giving a personal email address to friends and family ONLY and do not break the rule. Spam will eventually build up and it’s a pain changing. All of these have been free, though I’m not sure if you can host email through google for free anymore. Gmail/google email is much better than yahoo in my opinion. If nothing else, there are no ads to annoy you.

  • I do redirect all my mail from edgibbs.com through yahoo. I probably just need to adjust and move to fronting my email through edgibbs.com.
